    Default Help!! Fast!! I need to clear a feature

    Sorry for the title but I don't know how to describe my problem that well. I had a product category which had an assortment of products from a particular brand. I then created sub categories and moved the items from the main category to the sub-categories. The problem is that some of these items are still showing under the main category when viewed from my website but not when viewed from Zen Cart. How do I clear this up? I think it is related to a products that are associated with products purchased. I hope this makes sense to someone who understands and can help. Its really making my site look unprofessional.

    Okay I got it figured out. The products wouldn't clear until they were cleared from the "Featured Products" page.

    Lesson: If you have items in a category that are featured on the "Featured Products Page" they will not clear from the category when moved until they are removed from the "Featured Products" page.

    I hope this helps somebody else.

    That should not have been an issue ...

    I can delete any Product I want, Featured or not Featured ...

    What version of Zen Cart are you running?

    Where did you get it?

    Clean install or an Upgrade?

    How did you install? How did you upgrade?

    Do you import your products or add them via the Zen Cart Admin?

    This is most bizzar as Zen Cart does not work this way ...

    The only thing that I can think of is that there are problems somewhere either in your files or in your database tables ...

    What add-ons are you using?

    Was this a Clean install or an Upgrade?

    How did you Install? How did you Upgrade?

    If you look at the Tools ... Server Info ... in the Zen Cart Admin, could you post the lines from just below the Menubar, up to and including the line about PHP vX.XX ...

    Thanks for your quick response.
    It was a fresh install.

    I was hoping there might be an easy fix I could make. I should probably go back to my programmer and have him correct it.
