You can get that effect in Zen Cart by placing Products into Categories and then going to that Category and the Product Listing would show each Product with its own Add to Cart Quantity box ...

The advantage in Zen Cart is that you can customize in the Configuration ... Product Listing ... the fields of data that you want displayed on the Product Listing and also click on the Product Name and go to a Details Page in the Product Info for that Product ...

Ohh mann it is so much easier then I thought it would be.

I looked through the configuration and did not see the option for display the options on the product listing. Like for example if I am adding queen I want colors to be in the drop down.

Can someone please explain a little better on how I can achieve this? Right now, I have 1 product for each page. Each product will have 3-4 different colors and sizes so I'd like a table that someone can pick multiple products at one time...for example, they could buy 2 red shirts and then 1 black shirt and click "Add To Cart" and they would all be updated in the cart.. I would like a table that looks like this:

and I'd like to also add a column for size.

Can someone walk me through a little better please? I've looked into many options and this seems the best.

The listing page is not able to show options for each product (like size or color). For any items which require choices beyond quantity you need to go to the info page for that product.

It is possible to modify the page function so that options are displayed on the listing page, but that involves advanced PHP coding and database interface work. If you are not already a competent PHP programmer I would not advise starting with this project on your own.

There has been some information on the process posted in the forum, so you might try a search using a variety of relevant keywords.

Pardon me for another newbie question but where can I access the info page?

Basically, I have apparel items. Each item has 3-4 colors and 3-4 sizes for each. I'd like to display each product color on the info page and I'd like the user to be able to pick any product on that page and add it to the cart. But I'd also like the correct color represented in the cart if possible. For example, say I have a black t-shirt for my main image and I have a red, green and blue added as multiple images. If someone wants the red shirt, how can I get that to display in the shopping cart? Right now I have it set up as a dropdown for "Color" and a dropdown for "Sizes" and they can pick accordingly.

I just need the easiest/cleanest way to add multiple items to the product page.

The product info page is the page that comes up when you click on the name or picture of the item in the listing page. It shows full details for one product.

The shopping cart is not set up to show images of attributes or alternates to the main image. It will show the chosen attributes like Size and Color as text.

You can order as many as you want of one size/color combination in one "add to cart" operation. To get more of the same product in a different color, you have to select and add to cart again.

So, there aren't any other ways to integrate multiple images on the info. page with their attributes? Can I add multiple "Add to Cart" buttons/quantity boxes on one info. page? For example, under each product image there would be a dropdown for "Size" and then a quantity box/Add To Cart button. Can this be achieved?

Anything is possible if you know enough PHP to code for it.

You can add an image to each attribute (in Attributes Controller) on the info page, it just won't show in the shopping cart.
