Getting rid of Gift Certificate box

I do not use Gift Certificates one my website (they seem to be too complicated for my customers, go figure :) so I want to remove the Gift Certificate box that is located under the Discount Coupon Box (step 2 of 3 -- Payment Info page).
When my customers incorrectly put a discount coupon code into the gift certificate box, it shows they have paid in full and removes all taxes (if they are local to me) which is very confusing.

I simply want one box....the discount coupon box to show. Can that be done? and if so, how would i go about doing it?

If *I* wanted to get rid of the Gift Certificate redeem box and the information about Gift Certificates and never, ever know that your shop could have worked with Gift Certificates ...

I'd remove the feature in your Zen Cart Admin ...

Go to the Modules ... Order Totals ... and click on Gift Certificates ot_gv and click on REMOVE button ... and *poof* it's gone ...

Whohooooooooo something I can do without screwing stuff up!!

I have tried the Gift Certificates since I got zen cart last year, but some of my customers (in their 50's, 60's, etc just get so frustrated trying to get it right. I think I have sold maybe two in all that time, the rest I gave out as thank you gifts and the majority did not even use them. Oh well......:)
