different shipping options on products

Guys,
hopefully someone can help. I have an agreement with my suppliers that they'll ship out customer orders direct to the customer to save us keeping stock.

Unfortunately, suppliers have different shipping rates, is there a way to set this as default or will I need to recode something?

There isn't anything built into Zen Cart for mixed Shipping Methods per Product ...

You would have to do quite a bit of customizing for this, but it could be done ...

Do you have any ideas around how long this sort of customisation would take.

It's probably way above my station but would be an ace feature for us.
