    Default SSL works well...too well.

    Hi,

    Simple problem. Hopefully simple solution.

Still in the setup mode (porting from oscMax to ZenCart)

SSL is working fine. Site is working fine.

    Here's the situation.

Main page in Zencart -- non SSL. But upon return from login, the URL is changed to https:// and the dreaded error insecure pop up appears. I know why it's there. There ARE links to another part of the site hardcoded in. But this is NOT a page that needs to be secure. In fact, if I move to any other page, it goes back to 'http://...' and images all display correctly. If I navigate back to the home page, everything works fine...but if I log in, Zencart is returning to the main page with the unnecessary https://... in the URL.

Is there a simple fix for this? I've searched many SSL threads but the vast majority are about setting up SSL.

    Thanks,

    gbm

The URL to see the problem?

I have exactly the same problem and I don't see that it has been answered anywhere.
