Switching categories column in a template?

I found a template online I was thinking about using but the categories column is on the right side and I would prefer it on the left. Is there an easy way to switch this? Also I have access to Dreamweaver.

I want to put it on the left. Also I plan on removing the wine bottle and glass as it is for a clothing store.

The looks like a very typical TM style template - before purchasing I would suggest you make sure that the vendor will support it. You will not be able to just drop it in and make the change you are talking about if it is a TM.

What's a TM template? If it is a TM template I can't edit the pictures nor the layout? If I can't can you suggest another sorce for templates that is a little more flexable?

TM is Template Monster. They have a reputation for not conforming to the Zen Cart template override system and disabling Zen Cart functionality.

Have you checked out the FREE templates available in the downloads section of this site? You can see them "in action" at http://(sorry, site offline)/.

The free ones are great but I'm selling high end clothing and I would prefer a Cart that looks the least cartlike, if that makes any sense. I want something that really wows people when they come in.

I would suggest spending the money to hire a good designer and don't waste the time doing anything else.

Are those templates really that bad? They seem like a perfect fit. They are similar to the results of what I would get for paying for a custom design without paying the thousands I would have to spend.

This is an Algozone template, not TM (although also totally old-fashioned table-based design). If the template is built to Zen Cart standards, switching sides will be easy, not requiring code changes or Dreamweaver, just admin settings. You really need to ask Algozone about that, if you can't test a free demo before purchase.
