What is the easiest way to add 3000 new products

Hi, im updating one of my products in 1.3.8a and the manufacture has 3000+ products in a new category im adding, I was just wondering what the quickest way was to add these products to zencart, up til now i have been adding previous products one at a time, but there must be a different way that professional web designers do the job working with excel or writing some html code or something.

Hi

I have installed easy populate, but i dont have a clue how to use it. I have searched through threads and I cant seem to find any help on how to get started. For example I click on Create Model/Category tab-delimited .txt file in temp dir then i click on Download Model/Category tab-delimited .txt file to edit and note pad opens and I get an error message saying cannot find the file, do i want to create a new one, if i click yes I just get a blank note pad page, if this is correct what do I insert into it and how do I save it back to EP. Thanks Ben
