EPoS Link

We are a major EPoS / Touch Screen retailer in the UK. We have several customers who wish to project their selling onto the internet , yet retain full stock control on their EPoS system.
So what we want to do is send current stock figures to the web site , then get sales as they are processed and import them into our EPoS software so they appear as sales ( then update the stock )

Can anyone tell me if this type of link is possible and if so where would I start.

A few details: Our system is writen in FoxPro , but can import / export in any manner of ways . The touch screens are all XP based and are normally internet linked without the need for a seperate PC .
