Problem with Override

I want to change the page_? to read Dedication, News and Events. I have modifed the appropriate files to reflect the changes I desire and placed the modified fils in includes/languages/english/custom as the instructions in the tutorial stated to do.

I have enclosed a screenshot from my ftp client to reflectthe directory sructure as to where I placed the modifeid files.

I've have tried this onanoter site as well and place the files in the same folder all though the structre of that site is different.

The affected sites are:

What is going on, what did I do wrong?

You're interpreting "custom" too literally. You should replace it with the names of the template folders for the templates that you're actually using, i.e. "sophyblue" and "blue_gloss".
