Category image on category page

I would like to have the category image show up next to or below the category name (right above the description) when you are in a category. I know I could just link to an image on the server and put it in the description, but it would be really nice if there was a way to just tie it in to the one that is already assigned to it.

Okay, I found a very simple work around. Upload your category pic in the edit mode, then in IE (Firefox blocks it), just right click and copy the image into the description area. Viola!

Hope this solution helps someone else - not ideal, but very simple!

The above was helpful but if anyone know a way to make a 1 category with 1 main picture and all the products within that category will be as a list (like excel sheet) and without a picture.
I’m trying to do something like that on this page but because I don’t know how to do it I have to out same picture over and over so it won’t show "no picture available"

I believe there is a setting under Configuration -> Images that let's you turn your product images off. Then if you do the above, that's all you should see.

I checked the image setting but i didn't see anything that would change only one category.
I am trying to make it like bellow

Peek at that URL in FireFox and in IE ...

Notice in FireFox you have the extra text that disappears if you look at the same thing in IE?

Is this perhaps what you are referring to wanting to make go away?

I’m trying to make something like Excel spread sheet with columns, one for the product #, 2nd for # of wires, 3rd for length, etc. and at the last column put a "add to cart button. (See example bellow),
