red flag Oh 'eck! I've broken my admin bit...! (It was going so well too)

I've obviously made a really stupid error somewhere and it's knackered my admin.... the shop seems fine

I can't seem to find where it's wrong I've just got lost in folders now I'm going round in circles!!

please help! When I try to log into admin I get this -

Warning: main(includes/languages/english/header.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/beautyby/public_html/shop/admin/includes/languages/english.php on line 642

Warning: main(includes/languages/english/header.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/beautyby/public_html/shop/admin/includes/languages/english.php on line 642

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/languages/english/header.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/beautyby/public_html/shop/admin/includes/languages/english.php on line 642
I was trying to change my date format, it all seemed to be going okay-ish apart from it was still wanting mm/dd/yyyy (I want dd/mm/yyyy and was trying to follow the thread around here.. to no avail) although it was happily prompting the customer for dd/mm/yyyy and then error messaging and asking again for dd/mm/yyyy but actually accepting mm/dd/yyyy - I've done something stupid 'aven't I!!! Help!

Here's my site if that helps - www.beautybybea.co.uk

Check in folder includes/languages/english/ for header.php. That seems to be what it's unhappy about.

I looked there (I haven't changed anything in there) it's still entirely broken, I tried replacing all the english.php files with the originals... and nothing...

I'm not exactly sure what to do?! Can I even start over?! It just seems stuck on that error... if I replace absolutely everything will it go away?

I'd just finished designing my site too

Do you have Zen Cart unzipped on your local drive (your computer)? If so, try uploading admin/includes/languages/english.php again and see if that helps because the error your getting and what I'm seeing on like 642 of that file don't seem to go together.

I doubt you're going to lose all your work. If you have it saved on your computer, you can always go back to it. If you don't have it saved locally, you can still download it using your FTP client.

I tried replacing the english.php's last night... the error kept changing... but it's still there

maybe I've missed replacing an english.php somewhere.... I don't think so though....

Hubby is about to ftp the whole backup over the top *sigh*

I wouldn't be too bothered as I do have my stuff saved, but obviously one of the things I've saved (and I don't know what) is causing it to break, so I can't be sure of what's safe to use

    ah well.
