must login to browse and login page bug?

Hi,

I have my store set up to be that you must login to browse and also must be authorised to browse. I have found that you can login once and then log off but then if you want to login again the login page just refreshes. However if you then click the logo at the top and reenter the login details it lets you in everytime!
I'm using the latest version of ZC 1.3.7 and on lunix server. Have contacted my hosting provider and cleared cookies etc but still have the problem. Hosting provider thought it may be a bug in zc. I also installed a fresh version on ZC on new domain and set the customer details to the same settings and still got the same problem.

has anyone else found this?

hi,

My hosting provider found the bug in my store and has fixed my website. However I have another website in test and have been able to recreate the bug here too.

the url is www.wallisnurseries.co.nz/labels
I have set up user
testing##########################
p/word testing
so you will be abel to replicate the error as its still happening (although I dont need this store set up this way)
By clicking the logo (which needs to be fixed and I have a post asking for help!) it enables you to log in the second time around!

My hosting provider found the bug in..
changed on includes/modules/pages/login/header_php.php
from zen_redirect($origin_href);
to zen_redirect(zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT));

Just to let you know that in order to fix my header problem I have deleted the logo image so now you can't even click that to refresh the page and get in the 2nd time.
So the error still exists on this test store as if you try and login with same account second time it looks like page refreshes but no errors come up

Not sure what version Zen Cart you are running but that looks like a very old template and that could have bugs ...

The currenct version is Zen Cart v1.3.7 ...

My other store that intitially had the problem was running the classic template and version 1.3.7

The template on this one was downloaded from the zentemplate area called classic xhtml. However prior to the template being uploaded this store still had the same problem. It is also on version 1.3.7 which was downloaded at that start of June
