Remove Space in Product Listing

I've searched the manual and the forums, but I can't seem to locate this information. On my Product Listing, I have it set for three columns - Product Image, Item Name and Price.

In the Price column, I have it set to show the price and a quantity box. The quantity box is located below the price, but there is a space between the price and the box. With a large listing of products, this space makes the layout confusing because it can easily be mistaken that the price is associated with the box above it.

How do I eliminate that space? In HTML, I would simply use <br /> instead of <p> after the price, but I don't know how to do it in this case. I'm not sure if this is a CSS issue or something that can be done in Admin.

I sort of fixed the problem by changing the font size, but I'd still like to get rid of the space between the price and the quantity box associated with it.

Okay, you need to remove those multiple <br /> in product_listing.php

When the lists of products display, the price, the tag Add: and the drop down box for quantity should all be on the same line as the product name. I have 4000 products and need them crammed together as close as possible. I am using multiple add to cart and have eliminated pretty much everything but the product model (for sorting purposes)product name price and add button. I wouild actually like to suppress the display of the price as the prices are all the same. I see where I can make it '' instead of the value but it still takes up a line and spreads everything apart.

I am totally new to PHP and have little HTML experience other than commenting it out and making minor changes. I need really explicit instructions as to what to change or what I need to learn such as how and where the table that creates the add quantity box and other elements is defined and how to change it.

Hi,
I try to remove the white space between select color and Select Quantity. Please go to my site. The following is the direct page that you can see. If I display more than 6 the little color swatches than I will get a big white gap.
