Default Do I have to edit every page?

I want to set up the main content of my page to expand depending on how much content there is. I got it working just fine on the main page but when I clicked on a product it doesn't show. Then I edited that one and it worked just fine. Do I have to edit all the pages in the templates/MYTEMPLATE/templates/ folder?

    thanx!

I'm afraid that it's neither clear what you are trying to do, or have done.

By default your Zen Cart pages will expand to reflect the amount of content they contain, unless you tell them otherwise by introducing fixed heights in the stylesheet. So it's not clear what you're trying to do.

I don't really understand what you mean when you write that when you click on a product it doesn't show. Do you mean that you click on a product image, the relevant product information page doesn't load? If so, what edit did you make to change that.

All in all, I suspect that it's only likely that we will be able to help if you give us a link to the site so that we can see what's going on.

sorry i wasn't very clear. I am using a background image for the main content. It's set up with CSS to have a top and bottom image with rounded corners and the middle section expands.

You can see it here: http://www.buildlocal.org/zencart/index.php

If you click on the top links you'll see that the background image doesn't show up on those pages.

I hope that clears it up. thanx for responding.

A picture is worth .... I now understand completely your original post.

The issue here is that you have added your images to the tpl_index_default.php template. This is just one page, and if you used this approach then, yes, would need to add it for each page template.

However, there is an alternative. You could instead add your images to the common/tpl_main_page.php template which is used by all pages.
