I can't seem to find a way to put spaces between paragraphs in a product description, by using the admin? The descriptions are some what long so I need carraige returns spaces.

It lets me put them in before I preview it,but when I do preview it all the words are bunched together, no way it seems to put spaces between the paragraphs that stay that way? Is there a way to do this?

Sounds like your not using a wysiwyg editor.

You can simply add the following: <p>

Put that <p> at the beginning of each paragraph and a </p> at the end of one.

Or if you really want to save yourself some grief, start using the wysiwyg editor by going to admin~Configuration~My Store

Near the bottom you'll see HTML Editor. Change that from none to whatever is there.

Or download the fckeditor and follow those directions. I like fckeditor allot better than the tiny one.

I've noticed that as well when using the wysiwyg editor. This may seem funny but it works. When you need to create a space between paragraphs just press enter and press the space bar a couple times and then press enter again to begin your new paragraph. I have done this with lengthy sections of text on my website and it seems to do the trick. It's doesn't look right in the editor but when you preview the changes it should look how you want it.
