I have kind of a complex problem. About a year ago when we finally decided to upgrade our website I had done some work with a web optimizer I had met on several of the SEO sites he comes off as a hotshot. In three years of work on our site at www.makupartist.com I took the site to a PR5 and was first page on Google for most of our keywords. When we went to make the change this consultant friend suggested Zen cart so I started an install and got it running he then charged me for what he called optimizing the site which he said on Zen was very easy and effective to its max and adding some features. Zen cart crashed twice and could not be restored as he said so had to be reinstalled fresh each time and I now have almost a three thousand dollar bill with the guy kind of takes the profit out of it at least for me. Anyway as it turns out this was his first experience with Zen cart. We have Google site map in place but still my site has completely disappeared on Google unless you type in the name of the company. I am not sure exactly how he has done the redirect from the index.php to the index.htm and when I view the source on the main page there are no meta headings. He supposedly put in a complete site map even including our old website and I have even left the pages on the server for the old site. We are a Halloween based company so we just finished our worst season ever. He says it will just take time but there are certain keywords that we are on top of almost no matter what and we are not showing. Anyway any suggestion or direction for help from someone would be really great
