Turn off "New Products box" on main page

Hi all,
Cant figure out how to turn off the display for new products for main page.

Trying to get dwld speed lower for all the 56K users. currently at about 80 sec.

Would really appreciate any other advice on speed optimizing too.

Look in the Configuration ... Index Listing ...

There are sets of Centerboxes for New, Featured, Specials and Upcoming ...
0= OFF
Any other value is the sort order of the Centerboxes ...

For the Shopping Cart when you empty the Shopping Cart there are similar settings in the Configuration ... Stock ...
