HELP !! Tow issues I cannot find answers for !!

Hi there - just starting with Zen Cart and have 2 issues I cannot figure out:

1. My Sign IN link simply disappeared from the top of my page (I beleive the name is breadcrumb?) I checked all headers, the ez pages I could find related to it, it will NOT display... Can anyone point me to the right direction so I can fix this ? Signing is does work if used via "would you like to sign in" on main page, so I am not sure what is going on...

2. I have Paypal configured as per instructions in the FAQ (easy config, actually) but instead of Add to Cart and the field with quantities, I have a contact us button ??!?!!?
Again, I looked high and low and could not find ANYTHING related to this issue ... yelp ?

I have limited time to get this cart up and running, reason why I got zen cart... all and all it seems to be a good choice, but now I am totally stumped !

The breadcrumbs are the string of locations listed in the center column below the header (Home :: Category :: Subcategory :: Product).

The Login link changes to a Logout link when you are logged in.

What is your Store Status in admin > Configuration > My Store?
There are also settings to require customers to be logged in or approved to shop.

A link to your site will let us see more accurately what your problems are.

As you can see, there is no Sign In link to the side of the Home link... and if you try to buy a product... the cart asks you to contact me !!

I have been looking into this all day.. I hope you may have a clue what I did to brake it ?

First check the Store Status. If that is "0" (normal store), there are other settings to check.

Glenn, you are a GENIUS !!

The problem was My store status > product & quantity checked, rather than normal store...
That setting alone deactivarted my LogIn and my Add to Cart.

I have a lot of questions still - the most important one would be:

Is it possible to have a list of products in a page and check multiple items BEFORE adding to cart ?
My client has several items and any combination of 3 or more makes a given KIT... I would like to have a page listing all the times where a client could choose the items wanted and then a button to add them all to cart at once ?

Configuration > Product Listing > Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location.
