some layout help from newbie

Gentlemen,

I'm trying to setup a store and although I have numerous problems, I'm trying to solve them one at a time.

On the main page of my test store ( http://store.supertrapp.com/ ) you'll notice (soon after you notice how crappy it looks) that I have my company logo in the upper left-hand corner.

What I would like to do is remove the category list from the middle of the main page (I only have one category so far, 'gear') so I can use only the sidebar category list, and put a larger version of my logo smack dab in the middle after 'welcome, please enjoy our store' in its place.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Try Configuration > Layout Settings > Categories - Always Show on Main Page.

Add the link to your logo in define_main_page.php, in Tools > Define Pages Editor.
