Default Change my zc page URL to my domain

    Hi all

I read thru alot of posts on redirect homepage to zc page or vice versa but nothing smilar to my problem. I did not install my zen cart on my local machine but instead i install using Fantasico in my hosting company's server. I went thru the step by step installation provided by Fantasico and was successful by getting the zen cart store page.

    BUT my URL show:

    http://xxxxxxxxxx.com/index.php?main_page=

instead of what i want which should be:

    http://www.xxxxxxxxx.com

*Note that www is missing from the 1st URL (kinda funny, yeah?)*

I have checked my files on my cpanel. I have all the zen carts installation folders (admin, cache, docs, downloads, includes, etc) under my public_html folder. There are another folder named www in my online directory which also consist of the same folders similar to the public_html folder (www folder is at same level as public_html folder) . I read that putting all these folders in my public_html folder is the right way so my zen cart page will be shown as my domain index page. (as in when i type www.xxxxxxxxx.com)

What configurations or changes do i have to make in order to solve the URL address problem?

There is no url problem. That's perfectly normal and acceptable. The "www" is unnecessary and the url will work either way (www.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com).

    Hi afo

Thanks for replying. Erm... can you try my website? www.yourstrulyonly.com (Its working fine now cos i use the redirect function in my cpanel, but i will still like to direct straight to my zc page if i type the exact URL of my domain. But it din work.)

There is a problem when i click "Home" on my zc homepage, i will be redirect to a blank page. Do i have to edit the script of my index.php?

If you have an index.html page, it may be interfering with going directly to the page. Both the sites in my sig are Zen Cart sites and both go directly to the first ZC page from the url.

It looks like there's something amiss on your site. I'm getting text that's partially overwritten by the navigation. This may be because you haven't finished customizing and still have the ad for the book in the main part of the page.
