shipping information hidden behind sideboxes

Im new to zen cart and I am slowly learning my way around it. I installed an additional sidebox which works great, however in certain pages, such as when a customer is ordering, the main content is lost behind the sideboxes looking very messy. Is their a way to either ensure that the content is always within the sideboxes on either side or, alternatively can I configure it so that the sideboxes dont appear on the shipping pages. thanks in advance

This is a problem with how your site has been constructed. It's something specific about your site, and so we can't advise on how to fix it without seeing the site.

Yes you can turn off the sideboxes on the shopping basket and checkout pages, I'd even recommend it. It's a very small programming change which you can find explained in the header of your tpl_main_page.php template.
