    Default Removing the default catalogue

    Hi,

When I installed the shop I included all of the example products etc to see what the shop looked like.

Is there an easy way to remove all of the categories and products etc? I would like to clear it down so I can enter my own.

    Thanks in advance,

In your Admin Panel, go to the unwanted categories and just delete them. However... if you are thinking about doing some "advanced" stuff, then it's often a good idea to keep these examples so you can reference them later.

I ALWAYS install zencart with the demo categories/products, then disable all those categories (In the categories root directory, change the little "green" square to a little "red" square).

When I'm comfortable that my new shop performs the way I want it to - and I understand different product configurations, I remove the demo stuff.
