If you are in same place as me you should look at this code just above the setting you changed.

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.mywebsiteaddress.com');

double check your ssl certificate and modify the www in or out depending on the certificate. Should solve the problem. Also try the other fixes listed here but for me the solution was that line.
