USPS problem - select one method, returns another

Pardon me for being a n00b, but I have a slight problem with my store.

I'm using the USPS Shipping module and I have three options: Media Mail, Priority Mail, and Express Mail.

If a customer chooses Media Mail in "Step 1 of 3 - Delivery Information" in "Step 2 of 3 - Payment Information" it shows Priority Mail.

What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?

I am having a similar problem that just started today

When Priority is checked it goes to express

could it be a problem with USPS ?

Me too, I just installed usps mod and switched to the production server and even when selecting prioirty mail the next step shows express.......

So did this just happen to you today after it has been working for awhile, or is this the first time you tried it? I am having the same problem and am just finally ready to finish the site and this happened! So hopefully it is a quick fix. Just for some further info, I tested it out with an international package (Express and Priority is allowed), and whichever one I pick comes up correct.

Its been working fine for 2 years and was working fine yesterday

Then today...the glitch

I went to the USPS site and tried to use their contact form...but I got errors. I think they may be having computer problems

That could very well be as so far it isn't making sense in what I have tested thus far ...

But I will be looking into this later on today and see if there is something we are not aware of at USPS ... they are often so very helpful in telling us about changes ...

Something changed at usps today and until the zen team gets a full fix here is mine. Domestic and international rates work correctly although no rates are returned for 1st class international

File attached.

I made changes in capitalization (array and config area) in my usps.php file and now usps works for domestic and international.

Uninstall the old usps and reinstall this one.

Hmmmm.... this didn't work for me. I got the "couldn't return rates" error message.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! This worked for me. Luckily, I had a repeat customer who took the time to let me know about the problem, otherwise who knows how many customers I would have lost. You are a lifesaver!
