Downloadable Product Help!!!

I am trying to wrap things up on my cart and i am having trouble with my downloadable products. I have one free so i can see if it works. When i go through the buying process it confirms my order but then it doesnt let me download it. Also, I would like to get rid of shipping method since everything is downloadable.

First ... you have to setup your Download Products correctly ...

1 Download Products are NOT Virtual Products so mark:
Product is Virtual: No, Shipping Address Required

2 Download Products are NOT Always Free Shipping so mark:
Always Free Shipping: No, Normal Shipping Rules

3 Attributes for the Download should show the green icon next to the Download Filename when in the Attributes Controller ...

4 Payment Modules have a setting for the Order Status ...

Downloads are available immediately on Orders Status >= 2 (Processing) and <= 4 (Updated) ...

If you do not set your Payment Modules for this, such as Credit Card cc set to Processing or Complete (depending on your needs) the Download is not available until you edit the Order and change the Orders Status ...

NOTE: a Download Product will never go to the checkout_shipping page, unless the Product is setup incorrectly for Downloads ...

It does not have a green icon and i need to know how to do it.

When made the Product ... did you add Attributes in the Catalog ... Attributes Controller ... and add a filename for the customer to download?

If not, then there are no downloads on your site or no downloads associated with your Products for downloading ...

As to the Orders Status you need to go to the Modules ... Payment Modules ... and look at what the Orders Status is on each Payment Module that you are using by editing it ...

Check/Money Order is usually best as Pending (orders_status 1) since you do not have the money yet ...

Credit Card cc is generally one that you might set to Processing (orders_status 2) as that is usually money already in hand ...

PayPal is usually left alone as we have that set up right when you install it and usually you do not need to touch it ...

I have done everything you have said and it is still not working. When I check out it is still asking for delivery method and it wont let me download. I put the file name in and pushed insert and i dont think it is doing anything. i also need to make sure that the file they download is the the 12in X 12in and not the one that is pictured in on the site. The one on the site is much smaller. Below is what my attribute page states.
