1 Order Many Boxes

I have orders that sometimes have to be split into several boxes. Do I configure this in the FedEx shipping module or the product section.

When someone orders from me and their cost is 13.00 Shipping, because of the weight. And I have to split it into 3 boxes and it cost me 31.00. I am losing out.

On the other hand, I don't want to tack on a cushion surcharge and overcharge someone that orders a small amount.

Can you adjust the weight of that item to approximate the correct charges?

No this is not possible.

I ship picture frames.

I can ship up to 8 8x10 in a small box. or up to 3 16x20 in a larger box.

I have tried Per item and 1 8x10 undercharges and 8 8x10 overcharge. Both of these drastically.

I have tried Flat rate but not a way to determine how many in a box. Flat rate per box might work. Not per item.

I have tried Table rate. This has been the best looking so far, except if I have it set for 3:10,6:20,9:30. It works great for 16x20. 8x10 I can ship up to 8 per box. and it doesn't work as well.


What I could do if it is possible is put in another Table rate module and let my 8x10 use it and my 16x20 use another.


Can I configure the product to use certain modules and not the others?
