    Default Credit Card Split receiving 2 .dat file attachments

    When I receive an CC_nums email in Outlook email program I see the following:

    Subject: [EXTRA CC ORDER info] #70
    Attachments: Extra CC Order info #70.dat (245b); Extra CC Order info #70.dat (249b);

    What setting in the admin panel do I need to change?????

    About the only change I can think of is to try changing the end of line from LF to CRLF, might make a difference.

    On the mail transport side, SMTP and it's flavours is slightly 'stricter' and more rigidly defined than the others, but that really shouldn't make a difference.

    ALso check the mail headers and mail source to see if you can see any obvious 'mangling' of the mail by a mail server along the way to your inbox.

    There was an issue with Thunderbird 1.5 and Outlook for instance where any mail forwarded from Thunderbird to Outlook would arrive as an attachment, due to differences between RFC2047 and RFC2231 inmessage part and attachment handling, and this could be related.

    It can also be caused by security settings in Outlook and Explorer, or if it goes anywhere near an Exchange server.

    Windows also has an inbuilt horror of any file with a .dat extension, as it's regarded as an operating system file, and therefore dangerous to mess with.

    Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails......true
    Send E-Mails......true
    Verify E-Mail Addresses Through DNS......false

    E-Mail Friendly-Errors......false

    First I will try this procedure since I have noticed my server is linux hosted.

    I think you should rather be asking your hosting company what the recommended settings are for their servers, and use those.
