Issue with zencart 1.26...Please Help

I have been running zen 1.26 for a little over 23 years and have not upgraded due to the template changes. Anyway after a server hardware failure and restore I now noticed after testing there is a problem with the usps area. For some reason when i try to checkout and select the usps priority mail shipping method it defaults to the EXPRESS method instead. As a temporary band aid i disabled the ability for express usps shipping. Anyone know why this is happening? Also now when trying to login I am getting the page is trying to display secure and non secure items box popup. Not sure why I am gettin this. I only get it when using IE not Firefox. I am thinking that it may be the tshirt rating return link. If someone could help me out eith these problems i would appreciate it

1. If your USPS issues "just started" this week, a quick search for "USPS" will show you the patch that was issued a couple days ago due to something USPS changed unannounced.
