Default Shipping Config. Question - Please help.

    Hello,

I am new to all of this but I have been working on my cart and managed to figure a lot out. One thing I am stuck on is shipping.
I am in Canada and my service provider does not support opening port 30000 and therefore using the canadapost module is not an option unless I switch providers.

    My question is as follows:

How would I go about setting up my shipping when I have multiple products that depending on the product and number ordered combination, fit into different boxes ?
Canadpost deals with weight and dimentions for their shipping to the USA/Canada.

I could work out the different shipping options ( expedited, standard ) from Canadapost.ca for each of my products based on their destination.
Then charge this per item but if the customer orders more than a few items ( pinball covers ), then I might actually be able to fit a few more into a box and therefore reduce their shipping costs. ( I would hate to overcharge anyone )

I would want to offer up to 3 different shipping services to my customers.
Could anyone help me out to how I would go about setting up my cart to support the shipping requirements I have ?

I really do appreciate the help.

    David...

I decided to remove the canadapost module via the admin panel but the canadapost info is still located at the bottom of each product edit page.

Did I do something wrong ?

When you installed the module, there were some files that replaced existing admin files. You did make backups of those files before overwriting them, didn't you? You'll need to restore those files to their original content.

I will did and will restore the files but this still leaves my shipping problems.
I still would greatly appreciate not necessarily the answer to by problem but even a push in the right direction would help.

Maybe there is another module that might work for me.
