How do I reprogramming the Checkout output layout coding

Hi all,

I want to change the Checkout processing layout look of the products.

Since some customers will buy the same products with more than one, the Zen-Cart will show the total price of it, for example:

Product A priced $ 3.3, if buy three of them, will be $9.9

Like the image show below:



But now, I want to recoding the php code, but I am not a programmer, so if I want to the output look like that the program working to check do the price unit price, like that image below, how to do on the php coding?

I just know that it maybe need a "for ... else ..." php coding ...

I think having a unit price inline with the rest of the totals (per your screen shot) would be confusing to the customer.

You could probably edit the code of the cart to pull the "each" price from the db and put it in the same row with the item (create a new column in the layout). Exactly how to do this, I'm not sure. I'd have to play around with it. I'm sure someone could give you an idea if there isn't already a 3rd party extension to customize it.
