Try using their authnet translator it is a backdoor and the service is 99.99% up.

The securepay mod is not authorized by securepay and is not very friendly in the api process.

There is a post somewhere I posted before to show you how to use authorize.net aim mod and use the backdoor authorized by securepay is works everytime.

    Here is the post http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...0&postcount=17
took a minute to find it but it works perfectly and is authorized for use.

To get your key simply log in into your securepay account and get the authorization key

I have used their authorize.net translator, I had it operational. See my other posts on why I didn't stick with it.

It is true, SecurePay's technical support claims to be dropping support for "Zen-Cart", but it's still on their web site and as of the time we established our store SecurePay shipped me the Zen-Cart module (~Sep?) !

I guarentee you that the authorize.net translator WOULD NOT HAVE WORKED! The entire domain was down, there was nothing there, none of their interfaces (I have code that talks to at least three), including authorize.net

It wasn't a DNS issue either, something was responding (on their IP address, I checked) with unavailable.

Service came back within a couple hours of discovering the failure. By the way, I think two hours of downtime exceeds the 99.99% uptime (for a year).

We have been using securepay for 3 years, and never once had trouble, we generate thousands of dollars a week of sales on our car audio website using securepay ourselves and not sure about the issue you are having because we never experienced it.

It was a thought to mention what I did however we never have experienced this and still going strong using the translator.

If they are not working for you maybe think about switching to authorize.net and see if that terminates your problem?

Maybe you're not really understanding what I've said.

The site was DOWN. None of their interfaces were working-- if you performed transactions ~5:20PM ET Saturday (24-Nov-07), please let me know because I wouldn't believe you otherwise.

This has nothing to do with your past experience or whether or not you mistakenly believe the SecurePay.php interface (to https://www.securepay.com/oscommerce/zen.cfm) and the authorizenet.php (to https://www.securepay.com/AuthSpayAdapter/process.aspx) are somehow different when the entire domain www.securepay.com is returning "service unavailable" for both transactions and web interactions.

The service was restored ~8pm ET (2-3 hours outage). This has nothing to do with my store or which interface we use.

    Can refute these facts?

These are 4 of the day but it shows it worked fine for me.

Basically maybe right at your minute of process it may have spiked? But worked a few minutes later?

Not sure I just mentioned never seen any troubles from our end, I talked to David the Supervisor who we work with hand on hand with securepay mods including modernbill and various of softwares and se seen nothing out of the ordinary that would have caused you to not see their terminal.

Its weird I admit but its something to look into I suppose.

I agree it's weird. The two in the middle (assuming that's Eastern time) would have been during the time when their servers werer returning 'service unavailable'. It was at least 2 hours, not a few minutes.

Similarly however, just last night "Level 3"'s network connections were down inside a major datacenter for a couple hours. So perhaps this season is really taxing the Internet itself.
