Downloadable Product PLEASE help!!!

Thank You!!! I have finally figured it out. The only problem i am having now is when I download the product and then I click on the Zip folder that i downloaded it says the file is invalid for corrupt. But on my hard drive zip folder it brings everything up fine. I am wondering what is happening with the download. Do you have any idea?

I'm pretty sure that I have everything configured right. I set up a dummy customer account and tried to purchase it, set the status to delivered

But there is never a link to the actual download. How/where do you get that??

There is one on the checkout_success and there is one in the My Account on the Order with the Download ...

Do you see the Download when you add the Product to the shopping cart?

After you make the order ... do you see the orders_id in the tables:

Number of Downloads Allowed - Per Product 5
Downloads Controller Update Status Value 4
Downloads Controller Order Status Value >= lower value 2
Downloads Controller Order Status Value <= upper value 4

Read Only option type - Ignore for Add to Cart 1

My Check/Money Order payment module is set to PENDING (1)

Will these settings make it so that customers CANNOT download the product until payment is received and I authorize it (ie: change order status to "Delivered" or "Update")?

That is correct. (It will also work when you change the status to Processing (2).)

I am having the same issues that this post was originally targeting. i am using 1.3.8 of zenCart. i have double checked my items and made sure they are all set to:

Product is Virtual: No, Shipping Address Required
Always Free Shipping: No, Normal Shipping Rules

and all of the items are green on the file links in the attribute controller for every one of my products.

now when there is multiple items in the cart and the person is logged in it still adds the shipping section on checkout; however, if the person is not logged in it does not do this. none of the products that i have in the site have a physical potential for shipping as they are all download products.

let me know if there is any other info you need to help me to pinpoint why this is doing this as i have checked all of the items and they do seem setup properly, but they clearly are not as they are not skipping the shipping module on checkout when logged in.
