2 Search box in a page? Yikes!

Hi

I have 2 search box in my index page and i only want the one which is aligned with my "home" and "login" links at d top of my page. I had switch on search_header.php but did not switch on search.php in my configuration. Anything can be done to remove the search box under my header pic?

I believe that both search_header.php and search.php can be turned on/off from admin/tools/layout boxes controller.

Also, I generally modify the search box itself.

You will find that in the tpl_search_header.php file.

Why would you modify the template when the search box can be turned on and off from the Admin?

i have this same problem i can't seem to get rid of the search header that is in the header, while keeping the sidebox version (which is not the search.php sidebox) i played around with the settings in sideboxes/search_header.php but as soon as i turn on the Left/Right Column Status both searches show up on my page.
