USPS Selector broken...

On my checkout page I offer Express, Priority, or Parcel as options for sending via USPS. This has worked properly in the past, but is now only adding the Express amount to the total, even if parcel is selected. (If I eliminate Express as an option then the selection is ignored and Priority value is added.)

Any ideas where to look at this, or do I need to call USPS?

Here's a hint.

When coming to the Forum to research a problem, why not use the Search feature?
As USPS is the problem in this case, a Search would have returned a few threads; one of which includes the fix.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. It's not working for me at all.
I installed the usps.php patch file in
cart/includes/modules/shipping

I removed the USPS module in the control panel and reinstalled it (in fact I did this numerous times, as I tried to understand what was happening.)

All the options are showing up under Estimate Shipping

Only BPM (Bound Printed Material) is working as it should on the actual order screen - even though I have all the options enabled.

If I change the options back to lower case - for example "First Class" it works, but if I have multiple options enabled that way, then only Express shows up on the order screen.

BPM works no matter what.

I am pulling my hair out and I'm so busy don't have the time or energy to keep trying. If someone can help I'd be VERY grateful! Thanks!

I cannot reproduce the error ...

I load the November updated usps.php module into:
/includes/modules/shipping

I REMOVE my existing one ...

I INSTALL and configure the United States Postal Service usps shipping module and everything is working right now ...

For giggles and grins ... close your browser windows, clear your cache ... Reload the file to the server and confirm that the date on the server for the file changes ... REMOVE the existing usps module ... INSTALL the usps module ... configure it ...

Does it like you now?

Not sure why you feel my post was put down?

It is a common fact at many Forums, be it new people or long time Members, using the Search feature is the first thing one should do when looking for an answer to a problem. That is why my post mentioned it was a "Hint".

On the negative side, many people give up on new Members asking the same questions; over 'n over again. Then the Forum loses input from new Members and after awhile, it's the same people answering questions all the time. Eventually they stop posting as well and then everybody loses.

I installed the patch and my shipping is working again. Nice of a customer to e-mail me to let me know it was screwed up, or i wouldn't have known! I am still having a problem with GoogleCheckout. GCO is only using UPS as a shipping method, and I am wondering if it is a related issue. Anyone heard anything?
