Priced by attribute special using original price

Hi,
I'm having a strange problem and am wondering if someone can help me with what I'm doing wrong.

I have an item with a base price of £15.
I have it set as price by attribute YES.
I have also put the item on special sale at £5.

When the item page displays, everything is correct.
When I select an option and add to cart, it uses the original price when it adds the item to the cart i.e. £15 not £5.

I know I'm doing something stupid, I just don't know what it is :)
I am ruinning Zen Cart 1.3.8a and have stock by attributes 4.7 installed.

You have marked your Product as Priced by Attribute YES, but this is incorrect ...

Priced by Attribute means, that the Display Price cannot display correctly without including the lowest price of each of the Attribute Option Name Groups ...

What you have is a Product with a Base Price and Optional additional prices based on Attribute choices ... but those choices do not affect the Display Price ...

Turn off the Priced by Attribute and see if the Pricing works better ...
