Default Discount codes causing mysql error

    Hi guys,

I hope someone can help with this problem.

The following error is generated on the Order Confirmation page of my site after a customer enters a discount code.

Warning: mysql_real_escape_string() [function.mysql-real-escape-string]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) in /homepages/8/d208255833/htdocs/zen-cart/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 56

Warning: mysql_real_escape_string() [function.mysql-real-escape-string]: A link to the server could not be established in /homepages/8/d208255833/htdocs/zen-cart/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 56
I have had to disable the discount codes for the time being until this problem is resolved as it has put customers off completing their transaction.

I have version 1.3.7 of zen cart and last time I tested them the discount codes were working without any problem, however this was a couple of months ago.

Any help gratefully received. Let me know if there is any other information I can supply.

    Thanks,
    Ian
