phpMyAdmin SQL library version mismatch info message

I receive the following information message when I login to phpMyAdmin:

"Your PHP MySQL library version 4.1.21 differs from your MySQL server version 5.0.27. This may cause unpredictable behavior."

The "Store appears to be working as expect. Better than expected.
Should I be worried? Should I take some kind of action? If action is needed, where would I find the manual or instructions?

BTW, I'm running Zen Cart 1.3.8a : Database Patch Level: 1.3.8 :v1.3.8 [2008-02-03 19:09:40] (Fresh Installation) : PHP Version 5.1.6

That's a problem you need to report to your hosting company.
