Can't preview template from admin

Hmmm, I can't think of what I could have done wrong or what is causing this problem. when I go to template selection in my admin log-in and I go to view template it gives me this

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /store/includes/templates/my_own_template/images/ on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

That's a quirk that occasionally occurs .. usually when there is no preview image available in the template's definition.

NOTE: The "preview" button only brings up a pre-existing image for viewing. It does not calculate fresh updates to show you what the template looks like since making changes.

The other way to "preview" is to just select the template, then go to the storefront and look at it ...
