    Default Clearing everything out

I just installed and tested ZenCart and I've decided to implement it in my website. Therefore I want to delete everyting in ZenCart and start with a blank slate with no data in there and the options set to default.

Is there an easy way to do this?

    Thanks!

I'll take this as a 'no'.

Do what I did, meticulously remove items from the admin interface rather than going "under the hood" and removing files from the server. Don't take more than an hour or so to do it - that should be enough.

Yes but doing a fresh install will install all the sample data that I want to remove. Is there a fresh install with no sample data?

Um ... yes ... by default no sample data is installed. The sample products are only loaded into your database if you select "Demo Data" during the Store Setup screen of the zc_install program.

OK, then I'll have to remove things manually. The installation of ZenCart is done automaticly by my ISP's control panel so I have no control if the sample data gets installed or not.

    Thanks.

If I recall correctly, there was a download that automatically removed the demo stuff out of the Zen cart files. Look at the down loads. I can't remember where it was, but it seemed to be sensibly named.

It would be prudent for you to learn how to do installation on your own, since you'll need to know it in order to do upgrades in the future.

I'd second DrByte's suggestion that you install Zencart manually. A lot of people don't realize that even if a program is available as an automatic installation through Fantastico or the like, you can always install it yourself, and pick up a lot of valuable information/experience in the process.
