I'm testing my website to checkout solely using Paypal Express Checkout. I have v1.3.7 with Paypal fix patch.
1. Customer has a Zen Cart account, with a Billing Address (call this Address B) in his Account / Profile.
2. Customer checks out with Paypal Express, logs into Paypal, and confirms the Shipping Address as it says on Paypal (call this Address S). Let's assume he's using a credit card in his Paypal that has a Billing Address of Address S (not B).
3. Customer is brought back to Zen Cart Checkout process and eventually to the Step 3 - Order Confirmation page where it lists the Billing Address (B) and Shipping Address (S) respectively.
Now my question is: since the customer is checking out with Paypal, Zen Cart should not care about the Billing Address correct?
However, from a customer's stand point, this could be confusing as the Billing Address B could be incorrect, but there's no obvious way to change this during the checkout process (since PP Express bypasses the part where you have an option to change it).
Also, I don't want to have to require the customer to change the Billing address in his ZC Account / Profile.
Is there a workaround / fix for this? I could try to manually code it such that the Billing Address doesn't show (or it pulls the same address supplied by Paypal) whenever the customer uses PP Express... but I was wondering if anyone has encountered this too and if there's already a fix or plans to change this in the future?
Thanks.
