Missing Order History

Hello, I'm in the process of setting up my first Zen Cart. ISet up a downloadable product and made a test account and order it twice. The download link works OK but no record of the orders seems to be being created.

Reports > Products Purchased indicates that 2 products were purchased but under My Account Order History no orders are shown. Also under Customer > Orders no orders are shown but under Reports > Customer Orders Totals the orders show up.

Have I inadvertently messed up some settings. Would it make a difference that hte price is set to 0? I'd like customers to be able to see a record or what they have downloaded/got even if it isn't costing them anything.

If an order is generated, it should appear in the customers' My Account order history, as well as in the admin, and also in the reports.

If it's not, then something's been fudged somewhere, perhaps by a customization or an addon.
