Simple Hyperlink on ez-page to bookmark on same page

I think this is a basic HTML question - but it's not working for me on ez-pages.

I've created an ezpage that I want to have hyperlinks linked to other places on the same page.

.. ok so I set up a Reference as <a name="whiteboard"></a>

Then set up my text and link to <a href="#whiteboard">WHITEBOARD</a>

When I test the link I go to the main www.mydomain.com page and not where I want to go.

Syntax thingy..

I needed to include the whole page reference plus a "/" seperator.
