I am not seeing anything obvious ...

If you backup your database first ... then go to the Attributes Controller for this Product and click on each attribute and hit EDIT then Update ... do any of them give you an error?

I am also receiving this error.

The product is setup with 2 basic TEXT attributes for entering a person name and date. The values seem to be properly recorded because they do display in the cart view, but for some reason you get this error shown twice (once per field). I have tried making them required and not required, no change.

Upon further testing this only happens when I make the Attribute Required. Still annoying since they should be required.

Ok I finally figured out the issue. I had the option "For display only" toggled for one of the two attribute fields by mistake. Once I made that "no" it removed the error. Required does not matter.
