Changing button colors once clicked.

Just wondering if there's a way to change the buttons once the button has been clicked on. Meaning, it would fade momentarily into another color while the page is transitioning, web 2.0 style. Not sure what exactly to search for so if it's been asked, my apologies.

There are some mods in the downloads section which do this; you could also use the css buttons to achieve the same effect by using a different styles for the various button conditions.
