Website displays wierd in IE

I've been working on my site and its been going pretty well. I'm using a css flyout menu for my categories and Ive made some changes to my stylesheet_categories_menu.css to get the text into the right place. It looks good in firefox, but terrible in internet explorer, the categories box is way down the page and wierd looking. I would appreciate any help with fixing this problem. I've also tried to change the text color of the categories but I cant get it. I've added a.category-top, a.category-top:visited {color:#008000;text-decoration:none;} to my stylesheet.css file and it doesnt change anything. My site is www.mines-faster.com Thanks!

I'm on a Mac so I can't see the IE problem, but font what are you trying to change? The font color on the flyout menu?

Yes I would like to change the text color in the flyout menu from black to white so I can have darker color buttons but I can't figure out how.
