URL Rewriting?

Are there any URL rewriting module for zencart 1.38
when i install ultimate_seo_urls_2.105 into zencart 1.38 , there have a problem
my IE address show:http://127.0.0.1/005/1111-c-1.html . this is right
but my IE window.status show :http://127.0.0.1/005/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1

Can anyone recommend a URL rewriting solution? Are there any gotchyas with URL rewriting? Any success stories? Can anyone say they've implemented it successfully without major problems? I just don't want to hack up my Zen Cart install with something that's going to cause more problems than benefits.
