    Default Re: Text Box Attributes

I'm having trouble with the text attribute. It will not appear in the "Option Name"box and so is not activated. It was suggested to me that the module that allows me to see an enlarged image when an attribute is clicked might be causing the problem with the text attribute. Is this possible and what do I do?

    On TEXT Option Type ...

Go to the Catalog ... Option Name Manager ...

Next, you need to make an Option Name and in the Dropdown select the Text option name type ...

NOTE: You do NOT need to add an Option Value as this is already available for this Option Type ...

Then, when you go to the Attributes Controller and locate your Product, you will see Option Name and the Option Value for:

I've done this, and gotten a nice 6-row text box, but when you type, you still just get one endless scrollable line of text (well, 300 characters, as that's my max) on the first row, despite having increased the row number. Any more suggestions?

Have you an URL to this product that we can perhaps peek at to see what is happening?

Thanks for this thread -- helped a lot.
But one oddity with the text box is that if I test type in more than the allowed 75 characters it wipes the entire message clear! Annoying, I suspect, to customers having to start all over again. Is there some way to prevent this clear out from happening?
