Banner Sidebox

I stuck some adsense code into the banner manager, and it shows up in a 'sponsers' sidebox.

How do I kill the sidebox around the banner? I just want it to show the adsense on the side without a sidebox.

Hi, I have done the same. I don't know how to get rid of the sidebox entirely, but you can change the name above it so it says anything you want. Go to the admin, developer's toolkit, and type in "sponsors" in the last search box, set it to catalog, and find out which file that is in.

I am not by my ftp now to look it up for sure, but if I remember right the file is in includes/languages/english/english.php, and if it is set up like mine the correct line will be around the 400s.

That is exactly what I was looking for.

I now realize that creating a separate sidebox for my banner isn't as efficient as using the banner manager. What I'd like to do is remove the styling from the sponsers sidebox, without losing the whole banner manager thing. What do I have to do to style the sponsers sidebox, to make the sidebox disappear?

If you are using the BannersAll group, then add this to the stylesheet:

#bannerboxall {
border: none;
}

#bannerboxallHeading {
visibility: hidden;
}

This works for me!
