phpbb can be integrated into zen cart by default

I am not familiar with phpbb... does it allow the use of help ticket style systems? We wouldn't want a public forum. Just a place where a customer can submit their request... it creates a ticket... but on the back side, there is a forum style help center where we can see what has been taken care of and what hasn't.

It won't matter if it isn't tied to Zen.... We could use any ticket support system... Does any one have a recommendation for a PHP Help Ticket Program?
