    Default Paypal Standard help

Hi I am trying to get my paypal standard to work with my site. I have done what the book says and purused many postings but haven't found the answer I need. I am testing buying a product and will go through all of the steps but on final checkout I get a paypal warning. I have installed through the admin process what am I missing. I know it's probably really simple can anyone offers some suggestions.
I don't have any paypal buttons or logos is that the problem and if it is where would I put the coding?
By the way I am new to this coding where/how/what to put. This would be with the upgrade as well.

    Thanks in advance

What warning? What is your URL?

The seller accepts encrypted website payments only. You cannot pay the seller through un-encrypted buttons. Please contact your seller for more details.

Do you have SSL configured for your store?

It seems like you have configured PayPal to accept only payments via SSL which is why you see the warning when you attempt the test checkout without an SSL connection.

Zen Cart doesn't currently work with "encrypted website payments".
You'll have to either turn off that option, or switch your site to using Express Checkout instead.

Please excuse my ignorance but when you speak of encrypted websites I am trying to use only zen with paypal. Can you clarify a little more for me.

    Thanks

You quoted an error message which says your PayPal account is configured to use encrypted payment buttons only.

You'll need to turn that off in order to use Zen Cart.

    a) log into your PayPal account
    b) click on the Profile tab
    c) click on Website Payment Preferences
    d) Turn OFF the Encrypted Website Payments option
